SOPHIE BEALE- FOUNDER AND SELF TAUGHT CAKE DECORATOR AND DESIGNER
I'm Sophie, Founder of Sophies Icing Delights. and self taught cake designer located in Northampton. My love for baking and cooking started many years ago when I used to watch and help my mum cook and bake for family and occasions. Delia Smith was our favourite. When most children my age would be watching children's TV I was watching Delia Smiths Summer collection and personal favourite Delia's Christmas on repeat.
It wasn't until much later on when I made a Finding Nemo cake for one of my colleagues at work that I realised I was good at the decorating side of cake making.
Sophies Icing Delights has evolved a lot over the years and I now design and create cakes and treats for all kinds of occasions across Northamptonshire. I also offer party packages for larger events and weddings.
